Industry Fundamentals

the focus is on dimensions, space planning, FF&E, and finishes from the core and shell to final deliverables.

Professional Practice

The focus is on understanding Interior Design portfolios, projects, and the roles and responsibilities of a designer.

Construction Documents

The focus is on technical skills and the development of construction documents and blueprints/ full sets.

Open Studio

Each week will address a different part of the design process as part of one complete project to develop the skills necessary for the Interior Design student to move forward with a career in the industry. The focus is on the development of the student and a review of their weekly progress. Required for all enrolled students. This course is scheduled to run on-site in a face-to-face delivery format as well as online to facilitate a hybrid course.

Adobe Photoshop 

Each week will address a different part of the design process as part as one complete project to develop an interior design portfolio using Adobe Photoshop. The focus is on technical skills and the development of putting together a portfolio. This course is scheduled to run on site in person.

Revit

The focus is on technical skills and the development of construction documents and blueprints/ full sets through creation in Revit. This course is scheduled to run in person only.

Google Sketchup

Each week will address a different part of the design process as part of one complete project to develop the skills necessary for the Interior Design student to move forward with a career in the industry. The focus is on the development of the student and a review of their weekly progress. This in person course is required for all enrolled students. 

Female Interior Designer

Internship

The focus is on technical skills and the development of the students' career by obtaining an internship in the field and getting experience. Students are paired with industry professionals to learn and get hands on experience.
